MMP Home Loans, LLC is a licensed Central Florida Mortgage Broker founded by 25-year industry veteran Josh Dougherty in 2024. Our mission is to serve our customers with honesty, integrity, and an extremely high level of competence.

Our goal is to provide home loans to our clients while giving them the lowest interest rates and closing costs possible. We achieve this by partnering with many of the nation’s top wholesale lenders and utilizing today’s technology to its fullest capabilities to streamline our operations and management.

By running a lean business model, we prevent high overhead costs from being passed along to our customers—unlike many other mortgage companies. Furthermore, we pledge to help our borrowers overcome roadblocks and obstacles that can arise during the mortgage process, issues that many other companies fail to resolve.

Josh Dougherty

Josh Dougherty is a 25-year mortgage & real estate industry veteran with over 23 of those years spent in mortgage. He has helped thousands of home buyers obtain the dream of home ownership and honorably served our country in the Marines, prior to becoming a realtor and mortgage loan originator. He has also supported and worked with numerous real estate professionals and new construction builders throughout the Central Florida markets and abroad. He and his mortgage team are known as the “Can Do Lender” to contact to get the job done in the most efficient and stress-free manner possible!

Kristina Arshad

Mortgage Loan Originator, NMLS #2742828

Kristina has built a longstanding career in real estate, beginning in 2004, and has established a reputation rooted in knowledge, trust, and results. She has held her Real Estate License in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida, and as of 2025, she has expanded her expertise by joining MMP as a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator in all three states. Kristina brings a wealth of experience to our team—supporting company transactions while also originating and growing her own book of business across her licensed states. Her unique background in both real estate and lending positions her to guide clients seamlessly through every step of the homeownership journey.

Carmen Hernandez & Michelle Burditt

3rd Party Contract Processing Team

Carmen or Michelle are introduced after the transaction is underway. They order the appraisal, title, hazard insurance, and verifications when time permits, and will prepare your application for initial review with the Lender's Underwriters. They also let you know when the Lender's Underwriters issue your Conditional Approval (which is the same as loan commitment). Then, they work with you to gather and submit the required approval conditions to the Lender's Underwriters a 2nd or 3rd time as needed. Until ultimately, the Loan is Final Approved and CTC (Clear to Close)!
