MMP Home Loans, LLC is a licensed Central Florida mortgage brokerage founded by Josh Dougherty in 2024. The mission is simple: serve clients with honesty, integrity, and a high level of competence.
As an independent broker, MMP works with many of the nation’s top wholesale lenders and uses current technology to keep the file moving. A lean model means lower overhead is not passed along to the client the way it often is at larger shops. When a roadblock shows up, the team works to clear it instead of handing the file off.
That is why clients and partners call MMP when they want the loan done cleanly.

Josh Dougherty

Josh Dougherty is a 25-year mortgage loan originator who has helped thousands of buyers and homeowners across Central Florida and beyond. Before lending he honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps, then built his career working with local realtors and new-construction builders. He and his team are known as The Can-Do Lender — the mortgage team to contact when people want the file done cleanly and quickly, without the runaround.
Contract Processing Team
Once your transaction is underway, our Contract Processing Team steps in. They order the appraisal, title, hazard insurance, and any verifications that are needed. They prepare your application for the lender’s underwriters and keep you posted when the Conditional Approval (loan commitment) comes through. From there, they work with you to collect and submit the remaining approval conditions so the file can reach Final Approval and Clear to Close.
